I'v...I don't want anyone to misunderstand. I've done some research, and this is an accepted training technique, although I'm well outside of the demographic that this style appeals to. However, once I had time to step back, and even now, not having reviewed my notes yet, I can not only bring back the words, but the meaning behind them. Simply put, I learned A LOT! I have a ways to go, but it was excellent material, great concepts, and I give the instructors a lot of credit for being able to back up everything they taught us with science, data and facts, not just "this is the way we were taught". That may be why I retained as much as I did, I'm someone who likes to know "why". T...Unfortunately, that's a tough way to learn.<br /><br />The educator in me is horrified, because there are so many teaching "tools" that could make the experience less stressful, yet give the same knowledge outcome.<br /><br />But sometimes it's good to be in the students' position, too.
